Policies

Welcome to Silver Creek! We hope you have a great stay with us. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the following guidelines:

At Silver Creek RV campground, we welcome guests to stay with us for extended periods of time, however, the maximum stay for any one site is 6 months. Regardless of the length of your stay, we hope that you will continue to be a respectful and considerate member of our community.

  • All camping must be paid for in advance.
  • RV & tent check-in time is 12:00 Noon.
  • Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
  • Cabins check-in 3:00 PM. Check-out 11:00 AM.
  • For additional nights, please re-register before 11:00 AM on date
  • of departure.
  • All fees are based on 2 people / 2 pets / 2 vehicles.
  • Additional fees apply for guests, outside visitor

All holiday and event based reservations are non-refundable. We do not issue refunds due to inclement weather. Additionally, all other refunds are subject to management discretion including, evictions or violation of park policies that leave to departure from the premises. Thank you.

Check-in: 3:00 PM – All check-ins must meet at the office before making yourselves at home. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call 828-894-2331 in advance to plan. The registered guest responsible for the unit/site must be at least 18 years of age and must provide valid government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in. That person must remain on-site for the duration of the reservation.

Check-out: 11:00 AM – To make sure we can prepare for and honor incoming guests, late check-outs will be charged $5 per hour up until 3:00 PM when a full additional night will be charged.

Quiet Hours: 9 pm – 7 am Generators, diesel engines, and bright exterior lighting may not operate during quiet hours. The playground and pool close at 9:00 PM or dusk, whichever comes first. No loud music, excessive noise, or disorderly conduct will be tolerated. No visitors during quiet hours.

Our rates are based on a maximum of 4 guests per RV. If you have additional guests visiting your campsite, there is a charge of $3.00 per day per additional guest. All guests must be registered by adding them to your RV agreement and providing a copy of their picture ID. Any unregistered guests may be asked to leave the resort at any time.

Monthly charges are due on the 1st of each month. If payment is not received by the 7th a $50 late fee is applied. If there is no payment or contact has been made to discuss arrangements by the 15th, you will be asked to leave the premises, this is non negotiable. Thank you.

We ask that you keep your site clean at all times. Patio furniture and an outside grill are the only items allowed outside of your RV. No storage sheds or garbage bags or containers of any kind are allowed unless approved by RV Campground management. There is a dumpster within walking distance for you to dispose of full garbage bags. If your site is vacant for more than 72 hours during the term of your agreement without notification to the office, the resort may take possession of the empty lot without notice or a refund. You may not sublet your site.

Your rental rate includes parking for two vehicles at your site. Any unauthorized or additional vehicles, including trailers, must be registered as storage items and parked in our storage area for a nominal fee. Any items left in our storage area that are not registered may be towed at the owner’s expense. Please do not park or drive through grassy areas. Damage to any plumbing, vegetation, or sites may result in fees being applied to your monthly invoice.

The speed limit in all areas of the resort is 5 mph. This will be strictly enforced. If you are caught speeding, you will receive one warning. A second warning may result in removal from the resort.

You may bring up to two pets with you to the resort. When your pet is outside of your RV, it must be on a leash at all times. No outside pet kennels are allowed. You may not tie your pet outside and leave it unattended. You must clean up any pet waste immediately. Barking or aggressive behavior from pets will not be tolerated in the resort. All pets must be kid-friendly, people-friendly, and pet-friendly. We plan on building a pet park in the near future. If your pets are in the park, you must be in attendance.

If you are having issues with your electrical service, please contact the office immediately. Do not attempt to open or modify the electrical pedestal as it contains high voltage/high-temperature wires that can be dangerous for anyone who is not qualified to work on them. The campground holds ownership of the meter and may disconnect service if necessary.

Please use sewer elbows to help prevent blockages. Do not dispose of grease, food, feminine hygiene products, etc. in the sewage system. If a guest causes a blockage, there will be a charge for the maintenance call to unclog the line. If you need to dispose of grease or old food, please put it in a closed can, bag, or bottle and place it in the garbage, not the sink.

Please do not litter in the resort. If you drop something, pick it up and dispose of it in a trash can or dumpster. Do not leave cigarette butts on the ground.

All fires must be kept in the fire ring provided at each site. Fires are not allowed in any other areas.

All services, including sewage, water, electricity, and grass mowing, will be provided to all RVs. Telephone and TV service will be the responsibility of the guest.

The resort is under surveillance by CCTV cameras and other devices for your safety. If you have your own security cameras, they may only have a view of your private area. Do not aim them at other RV.

The campground facilities, such as the laundry rooms, toilets/showers, swimming pool, Wi-Fi, etc., are for the use of resort residents or authorized guests . Use of the facilities is at the user’s risk, and the resort owner, employees, or agents shall not be liable for injuries or damages that may occur. All minor children must be supervised by their parents or guardians at all times.

You also have 2 sections for Electrical Pedestals. One of these does need to be removed. 

The campground owner and management are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to any guest’s personal property. Please keep your site and belongings secure at all times. In case of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the resort staff.

The campground will not tolerate any abusive, onerous, noxious, violent, or offensive behavior or activity that could interrupt or adversely affect the enjoyment of other guests. Campground management will be the sole judge of what constitutes offensive or abusive behavior and will decide whether to issue a warning or require the offending party to leave the resort immediately without a refund. We will not tolerate profane or abusive language towards resort personnel or other guests. If you engage in this behavior, you will be required to leave the resort immediately.

As a customer, you agree to indemnify and hold the Silver Creek RV Campground, its owners, and employees and agents harmless and free from any and all claims, demands, costs, and expenses, including but not limited to attorney fees, arising from any and all damages or injuries caused by fire, water, wind, civil strife, or acts of God. You also agree to hold the Silver Creek RV Campground, its owners, employees, agents, or invitees harmless for any customer actions or inactions or any cause related to your use or occupation of the RV site. All guests are responsible for insuring their own RVs and possessions. The resort management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause.

Any guest who leaves without paying for site services or who refuses to pay for site services when due may be subject to criminal prosecution. We provide service hook-ups for your RV and require full payment in advance. If you fail to pay site rent on time, your services may be turned off and your RV may be towed at your expense. If you violate the “Theft of Services Law,” you may be reported to and prosecuted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Department. We have recovered rent, electric, and late charges from move-outs that left us owing money in the past, and we will take appropriate legal action to recover these charges if necessary.
